Description:
The ingredients of
Cervugid Ovules act upon HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) high and low risk strains,
Cervical Dysplasia, Candida Albicans, Bacterial Vaginosis, Trichomoniasis
Vaginalis, Chlamydia, Cervicitis, Cervical wound inside the cervix and other
diseases.
Cervugid
Ovules has a prophylactic role in cervical cancer.
As part of
the cervico-vaginal infections, the treatment of HPV infections (Human
Papillomavirus being considered the etiologic agent of the cervical cancer) is
very important to be done with Cervugid Ovules combined
with Isoprinosine Tablets - antiviral oral treatment.
The presence
of HPV in cervix uteri is demostrated by cytologic test or HPV Test (smear from
vagina and cervix uteri). The virus causes specific morphologic changes of the
cells at this level that are expressed in Bethesda system (the current
replacement of Papanicolau-Babes classes) as classes ASCUS, LSIL, HSIL or AGUS.
In HPV infections the administration of 6 boxes of Cervugid Ovules in 2
courses.
Treatment
has lead to healing in almost all cases.
The Cervugid
Ovules treatment must be done combined with Isoprinosine Tablets (antiviral
treatment - oral use).
Composition: each ovule
contains
Chloramphenicol
200 mg,
Metronidazole
500 mg,
Nystatin 150
mg,
Hydrocortisone
Acetate 15 mg.
Pharmacotherapeutic
action: Cervugid Ovules is a polyvalent product acting upon the
entire vaginal pathogenic flora involved in the occurrence of cervico-vaginites
and internal genital inflammations. The chemical composition ensures the
healing of the inflammatory processes at the level of vagina, cervix uteri,
internal genital organs, as well as of the pelvic inflammation of various
causes.
Very good
results are obtained also in all pelvic inflammatory processes (pelvic
congestions, metrites, adnexites, pelvic cellulites, pelviperitonites, and
inflammatory processes accompanying benign or malignant tumoral masses),
inoperable oravian cysts (small size), menstrual disturbances (accompanied by
abundant flow and pain).
Another
indication is local asepsis before genital interventions: hysterosalpingography,
cervical biopsy, hysterectomy, adnexcectomy etc, as well as in the patients
receiving immunosuppressants, cytostatics or corticosteroids, when body defence
mechanisms are lower.
Personal
hygiene is extremely important.
Usage of Cervugid
Ovules Treatment:
-insert one
ovule into vagina for 12 nights before going to bed.
In severe
cases of HPV the treatment must be administrated in 2 courses. Each course
represents 3 boxes of Cervugid Ovules. Between courses has to be a break of 6
months.
The ovules
can be used without problems during the menses.
Contraindications:
intolerance to one of the ingredients of the drug and during the first
trimester of pregnancy.
