What is
Cervugid and how it is used
This drug is used to treat or prevent vaginal infections and cervical
caused by micro-organisms.
Indications are:
Treatment of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) high risk and low risk.
Treatment of vaginitis and cervicitis caused by aerobic and anaerobic
bacteria (including Clostridium spp.), Gram-positive or Gram-negative
Treatment of vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis and cervicitis in
combination with other micro-organisms;
Treatment of vaginal and cervicitis caused by Mycoplasma spp. Or
Chlamydia spp. With other types of micro-organisms;
Treatment of vaginal fungal infections caused by Candida spp. With other
types of micro-organisms;
Mixed vaginitis treatment products, the combination of bacteria,
Trichomonas vaginalis, Candida spp and Mycoplasma spp., Or Chlamydia spp;
Vaginitis and cervicitis prophylaxis for patients undergoing treatment
with systemic immunosuppressive chemotherapy or corticosteroids for patients
undergoing radiotherapy;
Prophylaxis of vaginitis and cervicitis if patients are to undergo
exploratory surgery or genital area (histero-salpingography, endometrial
biopsy, etc.);

Cervugid Ovules is indicated in adults. If necessary, can be administered to

How to use
Cervugid
Cervugid
administered vaginally. The ovules (vaginal suppository) is inserted deep
into the vagina, sitting relaxed, lying down.
The usual
dose is one ovule Cervugid daily, evening, before bedtime. The duration of
treatment is 12 days.
If you need
to use in adolescents, doses are the same as for adults.
Possible
side effects
Like all
medicines, Cervugid can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Negligible
risk of adverse reactions due to low systemic absorption of the active
substances. Especially if prolonged treatment, and after the first dose, may
occur redness, burning local erythema.
How to store
Cervugid
Keep out of
the reach and sight of children. Store below 25 ° C, in the original packaging.
Cervugid not
use after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to
the last day of that month.

Cervugid is

2. Isoprinosine Tablets 500mg
Isoprinosine is a medicine that contains an active substance called
inosine acedoben dimepranol. It belongs to a group of medicines called
immunomodulators with antiviral effect. It is used in the treatment of HPV
high and low risk, herpes simplex infections, genital warts.
Therapeutic
indications:
HPV High
& Low Risk Genital Warts Dosage:
3g (2
tablets x 3 times a day) for a total of 14-28 days, as an adjunct to
conventional topical or surgical procedures, according to the following
schedules:
a) 14-28
days continuous in “HPV low risk” patients, allowing up to 2 months more with
no drug to achieve maximum lesion clearance rate; or
b)
5 days per week, 1-2 consecutive weeks a month, for 3 months in “HPV high risk” patients,
allowing until end of 3rdmonth to achieve maximum clearance rate.
Therefore,
Isoprinosine should not be administered during pregnancy or lactation.
